December new releases.

Hello everyone

its time for some more inspiration following our December new releases.  ON the 15th some of our DT introduced you to the amazing new images, and now its time for the other half of the DT to showcase.

they are:

Merry and Bright

Take to the slopes

The night before Christmas

And the one I used this month which is called Winter must haves

There are so many useful elements on this stamp, I decided only to use a couple to make my card, and as its Christmas and I'm still churning them out, I thought I'd use some paper piecing to make them stand out.

The backing paper was printed from a pink petticoat range called Nordic Christmas tree.  I then used craft artist to separate and copy the images, before printing onto the back ground.

I cut out squares using a tattered lace die, cut out the digis and layered them onto the squares, before adding glitter and some puffy snow for the bobble on the hat.

It was so quick, but really effective.

Please hop over to our blog or Facebook for more inspiration, and don't forget we have competitions running on both of these too, to enter, simply use an all dressed up image and follow our rules.  You can win three digits of your choice!

Thanks for stopping by - see you all again soon

Challenge 64 - All dressed up

Hello everyone

Hope you're all ready for the big day in a few days - I'm not, no where near.

I thought I was begin more organised this year, but it appears the big day has snuck around while I wasn't looking, and I still have a great long list of things I need to do.....

Anyway - back to the challenge I suppose.

We are keeping the monthly challenge going and launch again today with our usual 'anything goes'  All we ask is you use an all dressed up image - and if you haven't got any hop over to our blog where there are freebies you can use.

The DT have some amazing inspiration on there and on the Facebook page, and wherever you see a challenge, there is also prizes to be won, so its got to be worth a go!

I'm still making Christmas cards for family, so took the opportunity to make one for my lovely Nan using a November new release - Christmas tree fairy

I used a tattered lace die for the card blank, cut from adorable scoreable and a pink petticoat paper.  I coloured her using promarkers and spectrum noir pencils.  Finished with a touch of ribbon, glitter and a organza bow with some bling

I hope you like her - please check out the blog for more inspiration or join our ever growing followers on Facebook.

see you on the 22nd

Dropping the shopping

Hello everyone

I've had a lovely craft day - playing with goodies brought at the NEC last week, but I still couldn't resist delving into my old stash of LoTV stamps to make this:

She was coloured with promarkers with a sprinkle of sparkle.  I used distress inks on the flowers and edges.  The Poinsettias are a creative expressions stamp, cut out and shaped, with a Britannia ivy die behind.  The papers are from Polkadoodles. Finally the sentiment is a Tim Holtz/sizzix collection I brought last year.

Hope you like her and her cute doggie!

Hello everyone

Its time for our second set of inspiration for the October new releases at All dressed up.

If you haven't seen them yet - here they are available at Etsy here

This month I used 'Monsterific'.

I used promarkers to colour in these cuties, then cut them out and moved them around.  I took a piece of backing paper from a digikit, and then printed a sentiment onto a square white card, slightly smaller than the backing paper.  I then die cut some different size stars out, before layering the whole thing up.

Don't forget our challenge is still running on the blog until the 14th November, and our FB challenge runs until the 1st with the theme of Autumn or Halloween.

Both challenge will enter you to win three images

This month I have used 'dreaming of summer'  we didn't get much of a summer here, and it seems such a long way until its warm again!

The card blank is a crafter companion card shape, layered with the next size down.  The paper is from a 'First Edition ' noir paper pad.

I coloured her with promarkers and used a white gel pen for highlights.  The sentiment was added at the bottom

My flowers are a Honeydoo stamp that I cut out and coloured in, added some sparkle and a little drop of Nuvo drops for the centre

To enter, its 'anything goes' providing you use an All dressed up image.  Add to the blog for a chance to win.  Also check out our Facebook page where the theme is 'Autumn or Halloween'.

New release September

Hello everyone

Ooooo its that time of the month again when we showcase some of the new release images from all dressed up.  They are all available in our Etsy shop here along with all the other amazing images drawn by Wendy Burns.

Our DT have made some fabulous projects on both our blog and our FB page for inspiration, please check them out!

and our images are:

A to Z

A splash of Autumn colour

Time to Shine
Warm hand warm heart

This month I used A to Z, this is perfect for a new baby card, or separate out the letters and make bunting all wall hangings.

The photos don't do this justice as its hard to photograph acetate (LOL, although I tried from many, many angles!)  I coloured the images in yellow and blue promarkers before mounting on a piece of 6 x 6 card.  The front was an acetate cover, with a LoTV sentiment along the side cut into a banner shape.

Don't forget we have a DT call over also on our blog we're looking for some new ladies to join our team.

Look forward to seeing you very soon.  Thank you always for the comments, it cheers my day to receive the ping in my inbox!!

All Dressed up - exciting news!

Hello everyone.

After a bit of a break, All Dressed up is back up and running!  there is some very, very exciting news over on our blog.

We had a few members leave and due to personal reasons our DT co-ordinators also stepped down, so I have stepped up the challenge to take over the co-ordination of the blog team with the help of our lovely Liz!

Because of the gaps, we need some new DT members so we're holding a DT call over on our blog.

If this isn't for you - we are also holding a competition.  You don't have to make anything to enter (but of course we still love to see your creations so drop them on of Facebook page if you do!)

to enter this competition all we want you to tell us, if which All dressed up image you would like to win and why.  Leave us a comment at the bottom of the blog and on 15th Sept we randomly draw a winner for three images including the one you wanted.

To help our new DT along we have placed some inspiration from the current dressies on our blog.

check it out here: All Dressed Up Blog

Our current Facebook challenge to win some of Wendy's gorgeous images is here with the theme Pastel colours.

Check out all of the available images in the Etsy store

Here's my inspiration using a stamp called Sandy Beach

I embossed a plain white background with tiny hearts.  the papers are from a now discontinued Lili of the Valley paper pad.  The banner is a die coloured with promarkers.  I coloured the image with promarkers, and the background with distress inks (I printed out a second copy of the caravan and used it as a mask)  finally the postmark sentiment is also LoTV.

please hop on over we cant wait to see the entries for our new DT.

I'd like to enter this into

Thanks for dropping by, I'll see you again soon
