Sentimental Sundays - Christmas in July

Hello everyone

Sentimental Sundays is back after a break, and our brand new challenge is Christmas in July.  Hard to think about cold snowy scenes, when outside its 29 degrees c!  It's been gorgeous here in the Midlands, well it has been while I've been sat in my air conditioned office looking out of the window!

This week we are sponsored by

And I used this cute bunny for my card.

the papers are from Michele Roos on etsy, printed onto cheap computer paper.
The image was coloured with promarkers (bunny - vanilla, sandstone and tan with cinnamon and walnut nose.  Blues are powder blue and china blue and hints throughout of cool grey 2 and 3)
the sentiment is stamped from a crafters companion die'sire set.

I'd like to enter this into:
Sketch and stash - from their sketch library

Jelly park - Christmas in July
Aud sentiments - Christmas in July x

Crafting for all seasons - Christmas

Hope you like it.  If you find yourself in my little piece of crafty heaven, please do leave me a message as it brightens my day to know someone's reading my ramblings!

see you all soon

Friday sketch challenge - sketch 73

Happy Friday everyone.

it's sketchin' time, this weeks sketch looks like this:

and our lovely sponsor faeryink is kindly donating a prize to our winner!

Here is mine - this is the second one I made.  My first attempt I had almost finished the colouring, and I forgot to clean the end of my paper stump, and smudged blue pencil all over her face.  As this wasn't an image of a smurf - I sort of ruined it!  Oh well...

Its my first go at no line colouring (or it think that's what its called anyway)  I printed her in grey so the lines are hardly seen.  I have also been practicing with my spectrum noir pencils again.  Practice makes perfect or so they say, so I'll keep on practicing!

the backing card is just plain cream and I stamped and embossed glittery butterflies on it.  The black circles are a doily die, finished with some pretty flowers from my every growing stash.

thanks so much for stopping by - please leave me a comment if you find your way here!

oh and please stop by our challenge at Friday Sketch challenge, and check out our new DT's designs!

Love
