Hello everyone
Have you seen the new releases at All Dressed up - some more fabulous images from Wendy that I couldn't wait to use!
The new ones look like this:
Fly away butterfly Follow your dreams for you
Love my teddy
You can get them from etsy here and here's my inspiration using 'fly away butterfly'.
I coloured her with promarkers. The background sentiment is a crafters' companion one. I die cut a circle from pink then a slightly bigger scalloped circle from pearlescent white, before using an embossing plate to give dimension and layering together.
She was fussy cut out and added to the card along with some flowers (a combination of those from my stash and some handmade ones which were die cut and coloured with distress inks)
Please drop over to All Dressed up to check out the other DT inspiration and while there why not enter our latest challenge too for a chance to win some of these fantastic images!
Thanks so much for looking! please stop by at All dressed up and check out the other DT inspiration for these images - they are just stunning!!
I'd like to enter this into:
Laural craft - lets get girly
Polkadoodles - favourite shape card (Square!)
Cards galore - anything goes
Cute as a button - anything goes
One stitch at a time - Anything goes with leaves
See you all very soon!

All dressed up - I heart dogs!
Hi everyone
Well we've survived the first week of school - so much so, that Harrison wanted to go the weekend and was disappointed to find he had to spend it with us! ha ha - at least he enjoys it.... lets see how long it lasts!
It is once again time for the latest all dressed up challenge available here. Each month I spend ages looking at Wendy's fab images trying to choose one... this time the very difficult choice was made to go with my other passion - dogs.
We have two German shepherds who look nothing like these cuties, but I love them all for different reasons!
This fab image comes as both the full one with all the doggies and the text, and also with each part separately. With this in mind I made a set of things this time
So, so cute! The card was made using backing papers from Polkadoodles Octavia set, with blue and black plain card. The wiggly lines were made using a spellbinders edger die.
The gift bag was a template cute out again of the backing paper, and the tag - well you guessed it the same paper there too! The sentiment on the tag and bag were stamped in chalk ink and they are from a crafters companion set.
All of the images were coloured with spectrum noir pencils and blended for shading with a sprinkler of glitter to finish. I even used the images on the card insert to match!
So why don't you hop over to our challenge at All dressed up - there's no theme, the only rule is that you must use an all dressed up image and you can win some of these gorgeous images. If you don't have any, then there are freebies available here
I'd like to enter this into:
Thank you so much for stopping by my piece of the internet - please leave me a message if you land here as it makes my day to receive emails other than junk and groupon vouchers!
See you soon

Christmas Wreath
Hi everyone
Something a little different for me today! No card, but a wreath I made last night. This was to distract from the fact that today my baby has grown up and gone off to primary school It's his first day today and I'm sat here worrying about him... sob sob!
Here it is:
I die cut a large circle and used a smaller circle die to make a ring. Using an old fosters beer box (it was hard work drinking the contents just to get the box!!) and some white card, I die cut the words 'Merry Christmas' using a x-cut letter set. I then stuck the two card shapes together and painted them and the ring with gesso. The letters were then stuck onto the ring as a base.
I then used Antique linen and frayed burlap distress inks on the ring and letters. The Reindeer were painted and distressed the same. Then using a bo bunny stamp with music notes I randomly stamped this across the whole thing, finally finishing the cardboard ring with cosmic shimmer glitter glue.
The greenery is die cut from a Tim Holtz set, coloured with distress inks and stuck around with some fibres. The poinsettias are a sweet dixie stamp set stamped onto a papermania snowflake paper using versamark. Then heat embossed using gold glitter 'wow' embossing powder and hand cut out.
All of the die cuts were shaped and added, along with some moss and the reindeer's. The pine cones are a die that you layer up, I did this and used Gesso to distress the edges. All finished with a bit more glitter and some gold berries!
I took me around 3 hours to make, but I love it!
I'd like to enter this into:
613 Avenue Create - Anything goes with twist (Patterned paper, die cut, wet embossing, flowers, twine)
That craft place - Mixed media
We love 2 create - Anything goes mixed media
Brown Sugar - recycle something (the beer box!)
Crafty Catz - anything goes
Crafty Hazlenuts Christmas challenge - anything goes
Crafty time challenges - anything but a card
Thanks for stopping by! Please leave me a message if you land here - I love the read them!
See you soon
