All Dressed up for Mummy

Hello everyone.

We have another fabulous challenge over at All Dressed up.  As ever its anything goes - just as long as you use an All Dressed Up image.

All of the fabulous images can be found here on Etsy (including the little cutie I've used below), or we have some beautiful freebies here

We also have a Facebook challenge here with the theme 'Autumn colours'

or if you need more inspiration, why not try our pinterest page here

So its now the middle of October - how quickly has the year gone!  I thought I'd showcase a cute little Halloween image called 'All dressed up for Mummy'

I coloured him with promarkers and then fussy cut him out.  Placing him to one side I printed the words 'Happy Halloween' in a spooky font onto cheap copy paper, and then tore the whole sheet up.  Using Distress ink (Old paper) to age it and make it a bit tatty, I cut backing orange card to size and randomly glued on the strips to look like bandages, and added a bit of glitter to the edges. I mounted the cutie on using glue gel and finally mounted on black card and added to a card blank.

I hope you like it.

I'd like to enter him into:
Aud Sentiments - Halloween (and a sentiment)
Crafting with an attitude - anything goes
Crafty Girls creations - anything goes
Moving along with the times - Halloween
Crafting by designs - Halloween
The Male room Challenge - Halloween
Through the craft room door - anything goes

Thanks so much for your kind messages, I love to read them all!  See you all soon

Friday Sketch challenge 101

Hello Bloggers!

Hope you are all doing well!  Its the end of the week (Yay happy dance time!) so its time for another challenge over at Friday Sketch Challenge.

How the time is flying - I can't believe we are into October already!

This week you are playing for the chance to win £20 embellishment pack with this fab sketch

Here's my take on it using a stamp from 'The stamping boutique'

She was coloured with promarkers the cut out.  The background was embossed with a sweet poppy stencil, then a border cut with a Martha Stewart punch.  A sentiment, bit of ribbon and some pearl drops later, we have a finished card...

Thanks so stopping by here - please hop over and check out our challenge!

See you soon
