Challenge 80 at All dressed up

Hello everyone

Wow hasn't that month flown by, I can't believe its time for another challenge at All dressed up....

As ever our blog challenge is anything goes providing you use an all dressed up image.  If you haven't got one and want to participate there are some freebies you can get from the blog to get you on your way to winning three of the fabulous images from the shop on Etsy.

This time I've used a digi stamp called follow your dreams.  I'd just love to be floating away in one of those balloons!

I coloured the image with promarkers and added a touch of glamour dust for sparkle.  The easel I made out of die cut circles, and added backing card from my stash.  The sentiment is a Digi Lili of the valley, finished with flowers I made out of circles of card.

Totally Tropical!

Hi everyone

I made something a little different this week.  My final reminder to pay for my holiday has arrived, and to get me in the holiday mood, I thought I'd give in to the crafting trends and make something totally tropical!

I used a selection of items to make this:

• Pink petticoat digi image
• pink petticoat papers
• kay miller digi kit flowers
• a very old leaf die (I don't even know the make its that old!)
• promarkers to colour

I printed all the papers and matted and layered them together.  I love the ombre effect paper, its so smooth and clean! The image was printed and circle die cut around.  It already has the sentiment on it, and I coloured it very simply using promarkers.  Then die cut the leaves, coloured them also with promarkers, before printing and cutting out the flowers.

All dressed up April new releases

Hello everyone

Over at All dressed up its the second of the new release posts to showcase the latest (and most gorgeous) of Wendys Digis and they look a bit like this

I used spring walks as my image and here's my card I made with it.

I used Promarkers to colour her up.  The backing papers are from pink petticoat printed and cut to size.  The sentiments are Lili of the valley everyday sentiment tags (the digi set online) all tied with a piece of ribbon from my craft stash.

I just love this image - I can see it being used over and over again!

April Challenge

Hello everyone

Its time again for another blog challenge over at all dressed up, with a chance to win three images of your choice and a Guest DT spot for the following month.

There are so many gorgeous images its difficult to choose which one to pick, but this month I chose this little gem called happy holiday

The image was coloured onto watercolour card using zig clean colour markers (my latest colouring obsession!) mounted on a very old doily die - so old I don't even know who made it!

The backing papers are from a nitwit set called 'hello sunshine' as are the flowers.  The sentiment was just typed in different fonts and printed out.

All dressed up March new release

Hello everyone

as its the 22nd its time for the second part of All dressed ups' new releases.

There are some gorgeous images for last minute Mothers Day cards, or Easter in general.  Here are the images and for my inspiration I used the one for little boys - its just perfect for Harrisons friend birthdays.

And here's my inspiration for you using clunk clunck

The nuts and bolts background is a stamp set by stampendous, I used grey ink on white copier paper for both the background and the inside of the card.

The image was coloured using promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. all finished with some die cut cogs coloured with promarkers to match the robot.

All dressed up challenge 66

Hello everyone

Its the 15th so it must be once again time for a new challenge over at all dressed up.  As usual our theme is anything goes, as long as you use one of our images.  If you need some there are freebies on our blog here

This month I decided to dig deep and found some older images.  These sometimes collect dust, and I thought I'd use them to inspire you

Keeping with the recent spring theme on my blog - its a masculine card, but has some cute little critters on it.

Its a different shape for me - I brought these card blanks from a recent craft fair - and love them!

I used the froggie image, and coloured them with promarkers.  The sentiment I typed out and printed to add on.  Backing papers are once again from a Nitwit digi kit, left over from a project I made recently.  finished with brown matting and layering and a hexagon die to cut out the background.

Spring's almost here part 2

Hello everyone

Part 2 of my spring themed makes. As previously mentioned, I'm so glad the weather is starting to warm up and the gardens are coming back to life.  I always feel so much better in the sun! So inspired to make spring themed cards, this is part 2 of my latest makes

This time using a Hunkydory stamp set, and the nitwit digi papers again. I brought these from C&C in the last months bundle and just adore them.

There's a couple of variations I've made using similar techniques.  I went for CAS this time though.

No pastel colours this time though - nice bright zingy colours to chase away the rain!

Both were coloured with promarkers, and as I've said the papers were from a Nitwit digi collection, except the pink spotty card which was from Anne Marie designs.

I fussy cut out the stamped images, before adding them to my card with foam pads for dimension.

Springs almost here! part 1

Hello everyone

I'm so glad spring if finally around the corner, I love spring flowers, and my mini daffoldils are blooming all around my garden  - They are jst so pretty!

Its inspired me to make some spring cards or at least some card using spring colours.

My first one to share today is using a tiddly inks images.

I love the happy pinks, yellows and greens!

I coloured her with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils.
The card blank is a tattered lace die, cut and layered with backing papers I printed from a nitwit digi kit, and finished with a scrap of ribbon from my box. (does everyone have a box full of bits, I wonder sometimes why I keep them all!)

I die cut a few flowers and finished them with pearls, as well as adding a few pearls down the side.

I hope you like her, I haven't added a sentiment as I don't know whether to use as a mothers day card, or a birthday card.

All dressed up new releases Feb 2017

Hello everyone

For those dressie fans, you will have already seen the new releases from our fab DT, and this is part two of your inspiration.

Our new images are:

I used Love heart for my inspiration

I used some lili of the valley paper pads (they are Nitwit designs so although you can't buy the pads anymore, you can download from the Nitwit website)

I coloured up the image very simply and layered it up so although its difficult to see in the photo it is decoupaged.

I then used a couple of printed flowers and a tag to complete my easel card.  I used lovely bright spring colours - although I have recently found my love of navy in my cards...

Latest All Dressed up Challenge

Hello everyone.

Its again time for our fabulous monthly challenge at all dressed up.

As usual its anything goes, (only rule is to use an All dressed up image), and you can win three of Wendy's gorgeous images if Mr Random thingy picks you!

This month I've used one of the Christmas images, however you wouldn't know it was, its very versatile.

She's from the Party season girls trio, they come together and separate if you purchase them from Etsy

Here she is...

I coloured her with both promarkers and spectrum noir pencils adding tiny white gel pen dots onto the accessories. The backing card is from Anne Marie's designs, and the sentiment is a Woodware one from a set called Hand drawn sentiments.  Finished with a little ribbon.
