New release

Hi everyone

So this is my last post for the year.... my craft room doubles as present storage so I couldn't get in even if I wanted to!

Wedny has also release her last images for 2018, (scary to think we are at the end of yet another year, where does time go!)

This time they are:

I'm using sledging all the way.  This is made of the bits left over from other cards - I can't get to my card stash, so had to be creative, but actually I think I'm in love with the colour combo.  Happy accidents - gotta love them!

Coloured with copics, various die cut circles (waste from other projects) finished with nuvo drops in the corner and a Lili of the Valley sentiment.

Wishing you all a happy and peaceful Christmas and celebrations for the end of another year.

See you in 2019!

December challenge

Hi everyone

Its certainly beginning to look like Christmas.  Working in retail its manic at this time of year but I'm looking forward to a few days over the Christmas holiday!

It is the 15th meaning its time for a new challenge at all dressed up.   You can enter up to three times, with an anything goes theme.  Our only stipulation is you must use an all dressed up image.  If you haven't got any, there are some fabulous freebies on our blog pages, and you can enter to win some of Wendy's amazing digis including the new releases!

Our Facebook challenge is also running here - season/holidays so still chance to make a last minute Christmas card and enter!

I've used Mermaid Rock for this month's inspiration available here

I coloured her using copics in a range of colours including pink and yellow for the iridescent look.  Adding some pink glitter to her top and hair.
The frame is a stamps by my frame, die cut from blue glitter card.  I cut some wavy lines from pink card to go behind, and finished with blue gems and a paper smoochies stamp for the sentiment.  I hope you like it!

See you all soon
Rachael.

all dressed up November challenge

Hi Everyone

Well Christmas is fast approaching - I'm so glad I've been a little better organised this year, as I am currently up to my neck as we (meaning me and my husband) stripped out the kitchen, knocked three rooms together and are currently frantically trying to paint, tile and assemble so we can get our home back for Christmas.  All this work means very little time for crafting, in fact today is the first time in my room for over three weeks!

I've just got time to pop in though and tell you about our latest challenge over on the All dressed up blog, where you can win three of Wendys fabulous images.  Its on for a month, and the theme is anything goes, our only rule is that it must be an all dressed up image.  If you don't have one, you can use a freebie from the blog.  If you love the images as much as I do, you can go to Etsy and buy some, but beware - once you start, you won't be able to stop!

As its Christmas I though I'd use an image that was given as a recent freebie from Kit and Clowder, but is still available to buy.  Its called Girls Christmas stocking

She was coloured with Copic markers, I used an old paper pad by first edition for the backing papers and matted using black card to make it all pop.  The holly is a Sue Wilson die and the flowers are a Fleur flower shaping die.  all finished with a  sentiment and some Nuvo drops.

I hope you like her, back to painting of the non fun kind now, so I'll see you all soon.

Strawberry kisses

Hello everyone.

Still finding my crafty mojo at the moment, but I found this image on Etsy in the All Dressed up list that I haven't used before.  I had some perfect Strawberry paper and dies, and thought this would be perfect for the new challenge at al dressed up this month, but also its My Nans birthday this month so made it into her card sent from my Son (he calls her G Nan!)

The challenge is now live until the 14th or a chance to win 3 of the fabulous images from Etsy!  no theme, just use an all dressed up image! There's also a FB challenge running until the 1st with the theme Autumn Colours, you can enter both providing they fit the criteria to double your chances of winning!

Here's my little Strawberry Patch

I coloured her with copic markers.  The paper is from a pad I picked up from the range a while ago, its a 12x12 pad by craft sensations called Vintage red.  the dies are for Gummipan (both the bubbles and the tattered squares)

The embellishment strawberries are from Heartfelt creations (blooming berries), stamped and die cut, then coloured with copics with a printed sentiment.

I'd like to enter this into:
A perfect time to craft - anything goes
A bit more time to craft - Anything goes
Crafting from the heart - Anything goes
Cutie pies - going girly
Lil patch of crafty friends - challenge 91 - anything goes

All Dressed up September releases

Hello everyone

Wow Autumn already, how the weather has changed in a few short weeks!

Autumn was my insitarion for the new release this month.  If you haven't seen them yet they are these beauties! All available from the All Dressed up Etsy shop here

So here is my inspiration using sleepy time

The fox was coloured using promarkers as I didn't have the right shades in copics - an excuse to buy more I guess!
The daisy die is a unbranded one I brought from Amazon, but when its coloured its so pretty.  The wreath is made from die cut leaves (a combination of Elizabeth craft designs and sizzix dies)  they were coloured with distress inks.  The flowers are a little Susan's garden sizzix die coloured with copics and glitter glue added.  The final die is the berry branches from Sue Wilson.

I hope you like it.  Please hop over to our blog or Facebook for more inspiration

New September challenge

Hello everyone

Time for another challenge and another chance to win three images from the All Dressed Up Etsy page.  The only rule is that you must use one of Wendy's fabulous images, but that's easy, either drop by to our Etsy page or there are some freebies on the blog!

I've used a Christmas classic called Christmas hair do!

She was coloured using copics and Spectrum noir pencils.  A simple printed backing paper and computer generated sentiment.
The holly leaves and poinsettia dies are from Hunkydory.

A simple card, but such a beautiful image it doesn't need much.

I hope you like her - please check out the fantastic DT inspiration on our blog, or on our Facebook page.  This months theme is 'for the kidz'

August challenge All dressed up

Hello everyone

You may have noticed I've been missing for a few months, sadly my lovely Mom passed away in June after a spell in hospital so I've been away taking some family time. Crafting was something my mom got me into as a child, and then as we grew older, she took up cardmaking two years ago when she retired, so getting back into my craft room was hard without it bringing back memories.

I'm now back, and enjoying my hobby once again, although I shed the occasional tear thinking about her!

Its time for a new challenge at all dressed up - you can enter up to three times, with an anything goes theme.  Our only stipulation is you must use an all dressed up image.  If you haven't got any, there are some fabulous freebies on our blog pages, and you can enter to win some of Wendy's amazing digis including the new releases!

I used an old favourite today - It's a pirates life!

I used my Nitwit Coastal digi papers in the background, matted onto plain blue card stock.  The image was coloured with Copic markers.  The dies are some I had from my Moms craft stash, so I'm not sure who they are from(you may here this a lot in the future!).  Finished with a white gel pen, and glossy accents!

I hope you like it!

Hop over to our challenge on our blog here and see the amazing DT inspiration, and don't forget our facebook page.  We have another challenge with the theme 'girls' running until the end of the month, with more chances to win images, and there's nothing stopping you entering both providing you meet the criteria!

Hopefully see you soon now my crafty mojo is back

All dressed up challenge May 2018

Hello bloggers

Its time once again for the latest All Dressed up challenge over on our blog.  You have a chance to win three of Wendy's fantastic images from Etsy store here .  Here's my inspiration using baseball bear

I took two 6 by 6 cards, and cut the front off one.  I scored at 2 1/2 inches and 5 inches.  Then folded to create the front fold.  Using the short edge (just under 1 inch wide) and attached this to the second card.
The papers were from Etsy.  I printed and die cut the bear onto a circle, before colouring him with copics.  the sentiment is computer generated.
All finished with some die cut stars.

I just love this bear - he's so cool!

New baby girl

Hello everyone!

Popping in today to share a baby card for m friend who has just had a new baby girl.  It was basically just an excuse to buy another Lili of the Valley stamp from the new releases! ha ha.

The image and sentiment are from LoTV. I didn't want it to be soft pinks, so chose a bolder pink colour.  She was coloured with Copics.  The card blank easel is a crafters companion die, with a die cut oval and die cut baby washing line.  I added a tag with some hearts stamped onto it in a beige ink.  The flags were hand cut and it was finished with flowers from my stash and some die cut leaves, with a ribbon bow, some pearls and the obligatory glitter!  All of the papers are digi ones from Pink Petticoat.

My friend was delighted with it, I hope you like it too!

I'd like to enter this into:

light up my life

Hi everyone

Another Tiddlyinks make today using 'light up my life'

I printed her off twice and layered her up, colouring the top layer only, to give her some dimension.  She was coloured using a combination of Copics and Promarkers, with a bit of stickles added to her hairband.

The flowers are from my stash, and the backing papers are from a trim craft pad called 'Wallflower'.  I stamped two sentiments, one is from LoTV and the other a waltzing mouse sentiment set (I think... I've used them so many times I've ruined the packaging and thrown it away!)

All finished with more stickles and some blue pearl gems.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look, I'd love to see new followers or any comments you make!
See you all soon

All dressed up April challenge

Hello everyone

Welcome to all dressed up's April challenge.  We welcome some new DT's to our dressie family, I hope you can pop over and say hello to them.

Our new challenge is live on the blog here: and as long as you use one of Wendy's images you will be entered for Mr Random generator to award someone with three extra lovely images, what's more if you don't have any  - there are freebies on the blog too!

Here is my inspiration using 'new hair do' available from etsy.

Coloured with copics, I die cut the polaroid shape after printing the sentiment on my computer and positioning the die so it looks like the photo has been written on.  I finished with some flowers also coloured to match, and a 'hello' die cut sentiment.

The background is plain card that I embossed using a folder.

I hope you like her.  Please stop over at the blog to enter, and also our Facebook challenge will be running until the end of April with the theme flora and/or fauna.

thanks for stopping by

Little Soldier

Hello everyone

Sharing a little Lili of the Valley make today, a boys card too!

I love these little characters, so sad they are no longer making the rubber stamps, but I still love the digis and this one comes in a set of two!

This little fellow is from the little heroes stamps, I enlarged him to about 5 inches tall and I coloured him with copics.

I used an old Kanban paper kit to chop off the flags and a die cut sentiment added too.

Isn't he adorable!

I'd like to enter this into:
Cutie Pie challenge - cute digi   top 3
A bit more time to craft - anything goes
Creative with stamps - CAS with sentiment
Papercraft business challenge - anything goes - optional birthday top 5

Thanks for stopping by - see you in a few days!

Pink and Green Winnie

Hello everyone

As I've had some extra time this bank holiday I printed off some polkadoodle images I've been meaning to colour up for a while.  I have the sugar sprinklers CD ROM and haven't yet coloured anything from it why I hear you all ask!  I'm sure my fellow crafters understand this, we buy things that we coo over and think of all the projects we could make with it so we buy it.  When it arrives before we have chance to make all the pretty things we dream of, we move onto something else shiney!  I came across the CD while clearing out my craft room.

I've had a good sort out and have repurposed my storage.  I have even painted my old wooden filing cabinet to match my colour scheme, and all those IKEA boxes have had a coat of emulsion to match too!

While emptying these boxes I found my CD ROM!  After printing out a page full of Winnie's I made this one into a card.

I coloured her with Copics, and added spots with my white Gel pen.  The papers are from a Trimcraft pad called Secret Garden that I picked up from the works a few weeks ago.  I stitched around the edge using dark green cotton (I can now find space for my sewing machine on the table after throwing away 2 car loads of rubbish!) The sentiment is a mama elephant one, stamped onto card and cut out.  The flowers are a die from my stash (minus the packaging so I have no idea where from!) all finished with some lace, stickles and some nuvo drops!

I hope you like her!

Sassy Ballerina Freebie!

Hi everyone

I'm so excited to share with you an amazing, exclusive all dressed up stamp for free!

Wendy has teamed up with Kit and Clowder and you can get her now by following a few simple instructions.  need more info - click here for details.

She is simply beautiful - Sassy Ballerina

I made this vintage style card with her

I printed her out ad die cut her into a circle. I coloured her using copics and adding a sprinkle of glitter on her skirt. The sentiment is a lili of the valley stamp, and I used distress ink oxide (antique linen) to age the image and stamp the roses onto the background of the stamp.

The papers are a combination of nitwit papers and some pretty roses I brought from Etsy. Finished with some vintage lace and ribbon and a few flowers from my stash. The paper border is a spellbinders border die.

I think this maybe my favourite card for a while - I just love it!

Our Facebook challenge has launched today the theme is 'Flora and Fauna'  and our anything goes blog challenge continues until the 14th here

Both offer the chance to win three of Wendy's fantastic images if you follow the rules of course.
