Beach boy

Hi everyone

A very productive weekend! We have finished a lot of outstanding jobs, so its left me time to craft!  I've worked on a few cards including James from yesterday and this cutie today.

He's a tiddlyinks image called Beach boy.  I have coloured  him using copics and finished with a digi paper from an old Kay Miller set, and a Mama elephant stamped sentiment, with some faux stitching

He reminds me of my own son Harrison!

and a close up....
Hope you like him!

James the bear

Hi Everyone

Just dropping by to share a little card I made today using James the bear from Lili of the valley. I soooo love LoTV imags!

Coloured with Copics, I cut him out and mounted him on white.  The backing paper is from a scrap I found when sorting through my stash.  I've recently emptied a big box and colour coded the scraps so I can start and use them up!

The sentiments are also LoTV, printed and fussy cut out.

I'd like to enter this into:

All dressed up April challenge

Hello everyone

Welcome to all dressed up's April challenge.  We welcome some new DT's to our dressie family, I hope you can pop over and say hello to them.

Our new challenge is live on the blog here: and as long as you use one of Wendy's images you will be entered for Mr Random generator to award someone with three extra lovely images, what's more if you don't have any  - there are freebies on the blog too!

Here is my inspiration using 'new hair do' available from etsy.

Coloured with copics, I die cut the polaroid shape after printing the sentiment on my computer and positioning the die so it looks like the photo has been written on.  I finished with some flowers also coloured to match, and a 'hello' die cut sentiment.

The background is plain card that I embossed using a folder.

I hope you like her.  Please stop over at the blog to enter, and also our Facebook challenge will be running until the end of April with the theme flora and/or fauna.

thanks for stopping by

Little Soldier

Hello everyone

Sharing a little Lili of the Valley make today, a boys card too!

I love these little characters, so sad they are no longer making the rubber stamps, but I still love the digis and this one comes in a set of two!

This little fellow is from the little heroes stamps, I enlarged him to about 5 inches tall and I coloured him with copics.

I used an old Kanban paper kit to chop off the flags and a die cut sentiment added too.

Isn't he adorable!

I'd like to enter this into:
Cutie Pie challenge - cute digi   top 3
A bit more time to craft - anything goes
Creative with stamps - CAS with sentiment
Papercraft business challenge - anything goes - optional birthday top 5

Thanks for stopping by - see you in a few days!

Pink and Green Winnie

Hello everyone

As I've had some extra time this bank holiday I printed off some polkadoodle images I've been meaning to colour up for a while.  I have the sugar sprinklers CD ROM and haven't yet coloured anything from it why I hear you all ask!  I'm sure my fellow crafters understand this, we buy things that we coo over and think of all the projects we could make with it so we buy it.  When it arrives before we have chance to make all the pretty things we dream of, we move onto something else shiney!  I came across the CD while clearing out my craft room.

I've had a good sort out and have repurposed my storage.  I have even painted my old wooden filing cabinet to match my colour scheme, and all those IKEA boxes have had a coat of emulsion to match too!

While emptying these boxes I found my CD ROM!  After printing out a page full of Winnie's I made this one into a card.

I coloured her with Copics, and added spots with my white Gel pen.  The papers are from a Trimcraft pad called Secret Garden that I picked up from the works a few weeks ago.  I stitched around the edge using dark green cotton (I can now find space for my sewing machine on the table after throwing away 2 car loads of rubbish!) The sentiment is a mama elephant one, stamped onto card and cut out.  The flowers are a die from my stash (minus the packaging so I have no idea where from!) all finished with some lace, stickles and some nuvo drops!

I hope you like her!

Sassy Ballerina Freebie!

Hi everyone

I'm so excited to share with you an amazing, exclusive all dressed up stamp for free!

Wendy has teamed up with Kit and Clowder and you can get her now by following a few simple instructions.  need more info - click here for details.

She is simply beautiful - Sassy Ballerina

I made this vintage style card with her

I printed her out ad die cut her into a circle. I coloured her using copics and adding a sprinkle of glitter on her skirt. The sentiment is a lili of the valley stamp, and I used distress ink oxide (antique linen) to age the image and stamp the roses onto the background of the stamp.

The papers are a combination of nitwit papers and some pretty roses I brought from Etsy. Finished with some vintage lace and ribbon and a few flowers from my stash. The paper border is a spellbinders border die.

I think this maybe my favourite card for a while - I just love it!

Our Facebook challenge has launched today the theme is 'Flora and Fauna'  and our anything goes blog challenge continues until the 14th here

Both offer the chance to win three of Wendy's fantastic images if you follow the rules of course.
