Hi everyone
Here's my next post! I am really trying aren't I! I actually made this on the same day as the previous post, but though I'd spread them out, but unlike the previous card, he is much simpler!
This little cutie is one of my favourite LOTV stamps - I've always adored him! Little pirate bear.
I used the remainder of the Pink Petticoat gingham paper left over from the previous project and matted onto navy blue card.
The image was coloured again with distress inks.
The sentiment is a Simon Says Stamp one that I use all the time - its so gorgeous!
I'd like to enter this into:
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my little piece of crafty heaven - it makes it all worth while when you see the lovely comments!
See you all soon

Pretty Bouquet
Hello everyone
My mom has been very poorly recently - hence the distinct lack of blogging. She has COPD and was in hospital all over the Christmas period and I've been backwards and forwards making sure she had everything.
She is now getting a little better and so I've had a bit of 'me time' back and hope to start up regular posts again.
Here's the first of a couple of posts coming soon using some LOTV images. I have so many but don't use them often enough. I've decided to start and make some cards for the box as I know we are going to have plenty of kids parties coming up soon!
The first one is using a stamp called 'Pretty bouquet'
I used distress inks for the base colour and then used my Spectrum noir pencils to add in the highlights (it worked surprising well actually!)
The card was double sided printed centura pearl using Pink Petticoat papers, and then put through my latest gadget, my scan and cut (Christmas pressie from hubby!) to make the card blank.
Other Pink petticoat papers and Kraft card were used for the layers with distress ink edges. Flowers from my stash finished with ribbon and bakers twine, and paper butterflies also decorated with distress inks and pearls.
I hope you like her!
I'd like to enter this into:
613 avenue create - anything goes, no twist
Crafty Friends Challenge blog - anything goes
Really reasonable ribbon - use pink
simply papercrafts for all occasions - anything goes
Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a message!
See you soon

All dressed up Calender 2016
Hi Everyone
Just sharing a project for our latest blog challenge, this time though I've used loads of lovely images to make a calendar
.
A simple idea for the base and then lots and lots of lovely decoration!
To make the base:
1. Using a piece of A4 card (about 300 gsm for strength) score lines at 9cm and 18cm from the left side, like this.
December using 'All dressed up for Christmas'
Thanks for stopping by - please leave me some love, I get that warm tingly feeling when I see the comments on my email!!
See you soon

To make the base:
1. Using a piece of A4 card (about 300 gsm for strength) score lines at 9cm and 18cm from the left side, like this.
2. Score and fold the card to look like this:
3. Using a hole punch, make two holes at the top for two jump rings so that your pages will turn
4. decorate!
Now this is definitely the most fun. I have used so many components I couldn't list them all, but each images is an All Dressed Up image, found in the Etsy shop here. They were all coloured using my trusty Promarkers, and the backgrounds, embellishments and mats are a combination of Digi papers and kits as well as some paper pads.
The calendar was a simple table in word that I typed in the numbers for each month, however if you wanted ones with days on that match the year you can type in free calendar into the search engine and find loads (watch the copyright though and don't use images if you're not sure they're free!)
The months are a stamp set I picked up.
and so here it it....
January using 'Little party girls'
February using 'Love is'
March using 'Easter Bunny'
April using 'Paris'
May using 'Love my puppy'
June using 'Fly away'
July using 'Summer fayre'
August using 'little summer girls'
September using 'Little Autumn girls'
October using 'All dressed up for Mummy'
November using 'Time to share'
December using 'All dressed up for Christmas'
Collage of the images
I hope you love this as much as I've enjoyed making it, it was a lot of work but well worth it. It's taking pride of place on my desk at work!

Sneaky Peak..... New All Dressed up image
Hello Everyone.
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and wishing everyone a happy, healthy and crafty new year.
I haven't posted in a while, mainly because my Mom was recently in hospital over the Christmas period and I've spent a lot of time backwards and forwards checking on her. Thankfully she is now out, but the long term prognosis isn't good.
I've also had a craft room loaded with Santa's goodies. Having a five year old means I have an awful lot of pressies to hide and the only place we have is my craft room. It got so crammed I couldn't get to any of my die cutting stuff and could only just squeeze into my chair.
This year I'm going to try very, very hard to post every week. I may be on the look out for another DT post when things settle down again.
Anyway - the reason why I'm here today is to show you a sneaky peak at a new All dressed up image which will be available on Esty soon. This was the DT Christmas present from Wendy - thank you Wendy!!
Here is my inspiration.
She was coloured with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. I used a Dreamies stamp set in distress ink to stamp around the image
The flowers are from the same set, stamped in distress ink and coloured with promarkers. The centre is a cosmic shimmer PVA glue.
The backing papers were from the Works (no idea what the pad was called but it was only a couple of quid - what a bargain!!)
Why not check out this image - or any number of Wendy's other fabulous images, and when you make something please stop by on our blog here, or join in our facebook challenge (the theme for January is 'pink')
I'd like to enter this into:
Crafting from the heart - Anything goes
Craft your passion - anything goes
Our crafty corner - anything goes
Crafty Friends - use something new
Crafters Café - anything goes
Thanks for stopping by - see you soon!
Rachael.
PS: thanks for your lovely messages - it lifts my day a little to read them all! :)
