Happy Sunday everyone
Almost Monday again.... how can the first five days of the week take so long, and the weekend go so fast!
At least its time for another Sentimental Sunday challenge, this time a colour inspiration challenge.
Our lovely sponsor this week is a day for daisies and I chose this pretty image to make a card with.
The backing papers are from a Kay Miller digi kit called fruitilicious. I added a sentiment from the computer to make the background.
The image is coloured with promarkers and a quickie glue pen was used to add lots of glitter.
The butterflies and flowers were stamped on afterwards with a memento ink pad (lilac posies) and the stamps are a hunkydory set called butterfly wishes. Once again copious amounts of glitter were used to bling her up!
I'd like to enter this into:
Thanks for stopping by - leave me some love if you do, it always makes me smile to see your lovely comments!
See you soon

Sentimental Sundays - Animal Love ahhhhh
Happy weekend everyone!
Its just not long enough is it. By the time I'm starting to unwind its time to go back to work! As it's Sunday - it must be time for another challenge from Sentimental Sundays - this time entitled Animal love.
We are very kindly sponsored by Doodle Garden and this is what I made.
As soon as I saw this image I immediately thought of my little boy and there was never any doubt I would use this lovely digi stamp!
Coloured with promarkers, I used a digi kit from craft artist called cocoa latte and this printed my patterned paper. The sentiment is computer generated and the card is finished with three buttons from my stash!
Please hop over and join our challenge. All we need is a card or any other project with both a sentiment and an animal with a love theme.
Good luck - see you all soon

All dressed up - Its a pirates life
Good afternoon to everyone in blog land!
I really hope you'll join us this fortnight at all dressed up as we have another anything goes challenge. really easy - you have to use one of Wendy's fabulous images, but there are some freebies on the site here
I used an image called - its a pirates life for one of my little boys friends birthdays. He was having a pirate party so was very appropriate.
The image was coloured with promarkers. The backing papers are from a nitwit collection called coastal, as are the embellishments (I just printed them and cut them out). The sea was printed again and layered in front of the ship for dimension.
I hope you like it - if so please check out our challenge, The DT have been very busy and made some amazing projects again!
I'd like to enter this into:
Fab and funky - Masculine
I love promarkers - many happy returns
The paper shelter - for the boys
Through the craft room door - anything goes
Crafty boots - red white and blue
Cutie pie - boys and cute
Come and get it - make a card for a child
See you all soon!

Sentimental Sundays - No sentiment!
Hi everyone
Today is a first for Sentimental Sundays, there is no sentiment required! It was a bit strange making this card, I felt like it was missing something, and of course it was - my special message as I always put something on.
We are kindly sponsored by
They are kindly offering a 10% discount to all SS participants.
Here's my card. There was already a bit of shading on the faces so I decided to go with the face being black and write adding more shading with grey promarkers, and then go for a full colour hairband and hair. I then added the vivid blue eyes as a focal point.
I hope you like here - please check out the fairy tangle etsy page she has some amazing images and of course hop over to Sentimental Sundays to see more inspiration by our fabulous DT and enter our challenge.
Thanks for dropping by, please leave me a comment - it makes my day to read them! x

Friday Sketch #90
Hello everyone
Yippeee - 4 days off. I worked all over Christmas so my boss has kindly given me all of the Easter break to spend with my lovely family. Just planning our activities and some fun but in the meantime are you ready for another sketch challenge.....
here it is and this week we are kindly sponsored by Tiddly inks.
And here is my interpretation of the sketch. I went for a nice CAS this time
I do love Wryn! Coloured with promarkers (what else) with a simple spotty border (cut from a pack of pre-scored patterned 5x7 cards_ added a simple plain ribbon. the sentiment is a stamp from waltzing mouse stamps (which is my new favourite sentiment stamp set BTW you may have seen a few others on here recently ;-)
Hope you like it - if so please hop over to FSC and check out the inspiration, before entering our latest challenge.
