Hi everyone!
Sorry I've been away - rather busy at the moment with work and Christmas preparations. I have a ton of photos I need to post but just haven't had time. I'm popping on here today though for some very exciting news.
All Dressed Up are sponsoring Kit & Clowder for day 16 of their Christmas Advent Calendar. eeekkk - how exciting!
There's a competition to win 3 All Dressed Up images and a massive 20% Discount Code to the whole store! found here!
Find all the details on the All Dressed Up Blog here! But you have to be quick or you'll miss out!
Here's my inspiration for this challenge
She's one of the Christmas girls. I've coloured her with a combination of promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. I them die cut her out with the nesting Tattered lace circle dies, along with a backing paper from a first edition pad and silver mirri card. I cut a further large white circle in sturdy card, folded in half to make the support for the back
the sentiment is a Crafters companion one that I cut and inked the edges, added some snowflakes die cuts and a bow - and that made a lovely simply Christmas card...
Please check out the blog for the competition and get your 20% discount for today only!
Enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your lovely comments

To help with the Christmas cards I've made this nice and simple one as inspiration.
I used kraft card and stamped some trees and embossed with gold glitter embossing powder. I coloured the image (found here) with promarkers and fussy cut her out, before stamping and embossing the sentiment. Its mounted on a piece of scrap white card which I use double sided sticky tape and glitter to match the edges to the embossing
There are loads more gorgeous images here on etsy - or enter our competitions on the blog or Facebook for a chance to win some.
I'd like to enter this into:
Crafting with Dragonflies - Let it snow

Freebie!!
Hi everyone
Only yesterday I announced on the blog hop that there was a freebie coming... and here it is!
If you want to join the blog hop, click here to leave me a comment.
Here is my card using this little cutie
I have never used yellow and grey before, but fell in love with these pink petticoat papers.
She's been brought to life with promarkers and cosmic shimmer glitter glue. I die cut a doily (first cut around balloon so it could go over the die) then backed her with grey card. The happy birthday sentiment is a Simon says stamp, stamp.
If you want to get hold of our freebie you'll find it here
Please check out Facebook for more competitions and inspiration from fellow Dressy girls. The DT have made some amazing cards, so please pop in on our blog to see the up coming designs!
Thank you so much for taking time to leave me a comment it makes my day to get them!
I'd like to enter this into:

All Dressed up for Mummy
Hello everyone.
We have another fabulous challenge over at All Dressed up. As ever its anything goes - just as long as you use an All Dressed Up image.
All of the fabulous images can be found here on Etsy (including the little cutie I've used below), or we have some beautiful freebies here
We also have a Facebook challenge here with the theme 'Autumn colours'
or if you need more inspiration, why not try our pinterest page here
So its now the middle of October - how quickly has the year gone! I thought I'd showcase a cute little Halloween image called 'All dressed up for Mummy'
I coloured him with promarkers and then fussy cut him out. Placing him to one side I printed the words 'Happy Halloween' in a spooky font onto cheap copy paper, and then tore the whole sheet up. Using Distress ink (Old paper) to age it and make it a bit tatty, I cut backing orange card to size and randomly glued on the strips to look like bandages, and added a bit of glitter to the edges. I mounted the cutie on using glue gel and finally mounted on black card and added to a card blank.
I hope you like it.
I'd like to enter him into:
Aud Sentiments - Halloween (and a sentiment)
Crafting with an attitude - anything goes
Crafty Girls creations - anything goes
Moving along with the times - Halloween
Crafting by designs - Halloween
The Male room Challenge - Halloween
Through the craft room door - anything goes
Thanks so much for your kind messages, I love to read them all! See you all soon

New release - Fly away butterfly
Hello everyone
Have you seen the new releases at All Dressed up - some more fabulous images from Wendy that I couldn't wait to use!
The new ones look like this:
Fly away butterfly Follow your dreams for you
Love my teddy
You can get them from etsy here and here's my inspiration using 'fly away butterfly'.
I coloured her with promarkers. The background sentiment is a crafters' companion one. I die cut a circle from pink then a slightly bigger scalloped circle from pearlescent white, before using an embossing plate to give dimension and layering together.
She was fussy cut out and added to the card along with some flowers (a combination of those from my stash and some handmade ones which were die cut and coloured with distress inks)
Please drop over to All Dressed up to check out the other DT inspiration and while there why not enter our latest challenge too for a chance to win some of these fantastic images!
Thanks so much for looking! please stop by at All dressed up and check out the other DT inspiration for these images - they are just stunning!!

All dressed up - I heart dogs!
Hi everyone
Well we've survived the first week of school - so much so, that Harrison wanted to go the weekend and was disappointed to find he had to spend it with us! ha ha - at least he enjoys it.... lets see how long it lasts!
It is once again time for the latest all dressed up challenge available here. Each month I spend ages looking at Wendy's fab images trying to choose one... this time the very difficult choice was made to go with my other passion - dogs.
We have two German shepherds who look nothing like these cuties, but I love them all for different reasons!
This fab image comes as both the full one with all the doggies and the text, and also with each part separately. With this in mind I made a set of things this time
So, so cute! The card was made using backing papers from Polkadoodles Octavia set, with blue and black plain card. The wiggly lines were made using a spellbinders edger die.
The gift bag was a template cute out again of the backing paper, and the tag - well you guessed it the same paper there too! The sentiment on the tag and bag were stamped in chalk ink and they are from a crafters companion set.
All of the images were coloured with spectrum noir pencils and blended for shading with a sprinkler of glitter to finish. I even used the images on the card insert to match!
So why don't you hop over to our challenge at All dressed up - there's no theme, the only rule is that you must use an all dressed up image and you can win some of these gorgeous images. If you don't have any, then there are freebies available here
I'd like to enter this into:
Thank you so much for stopping by my piece of the internet - please leave me a message if you land here as it makes my day to receive emails other than junk and groupon vouchers!
See you soon
