I made this for to enter the Friday Sketch challenge #48
I stamped and coloured a LoTV baby stamp, matted and layered with blue paper and silver mirri board to match the sketch, then digitally typed and made the blocks for the word BOY. Added ribbon and paper roses with a little Claire tag. Doodled around the edges adding gems then finally I glittered the image for a bit of sparkle...
I hope you like it!

Order of Service
Now the 'Order of service' have been revealed at the wedding (and many congratulations to Kay and Andy!) I thought I'd add them to my blog. They were in booklet format A5 size with a folded page within. Kay said she wanted some swirls and hearts in the colour of her Bridesmaids all on pearlescent card- and I designed the rest.
They were designed on Serif Craft Artist 2, hearts were punched out and affixed with sticky pads, then I glittered dots all around the swirls using quickie glue pen.

Wedding card
While finishing the order of service print run - I made this card for the happy couple who are getting married on Saturday. I used my Serif program to design and print the card onto pearlescent card, then using my quickie glue pen and copious amounts of glitter finished the card off. Nice and simple!

Happy Birthday Matt!
Although this post is a couple of days late, I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband Matt!. I made this card from our son, Harrison. When I saw the stamp at the NEC craft show, I instantly thought of Matt and knew it would make a gorgeous card.
So once again - Happy birthday Matt!!

Nappy Cake
Hi Everyone
I thought I'd share a couple of pictures of some things I've made in the past starting with my first ever nappy cake. I made this for my brother and sister-in-law when my lovely nephew was born. Its a nappy cake with a sock bouquet on the top.
It looked amazing until my brother dropped the bouquet!

Hello Facebook
Just a quick hello to all the people who may check out this page after my Hubby Matt posted it on Facebook.
Even if craft and cardmaking is not your thing - please bear me in mind for any special cards, wedding stationary, baby shower/new baby stuff etc as I do make lots of bespoke things to order.
I will in the next couple of days post some examples...
Thanks for dropping by!

Cute teddy
Following rather a hectic working weekend, I am finally enjoying some me time in my craft room.
I've just made the following card to enter into:
Papertake challenge, something old, new, borrowed and blue. It is a new stamp (well, new to me),
with old sentiments and scraps of lace, all finished in blue.
and
Cutiepie challenge #48 cute and cuddly.
I printed a blue spotty background paper, cut to size of my card, then die cut a scalloped circle. I then
stamped the bear - its from Lili of the valley (and was a bargain from a craft room clearance on ebay!) and coloured using various blue promarkers. the bear was coloured using vanilla and tan.
I then cut a doily and placed behind and layered the whole card up while adding white ribbon
(again coloured pale blue with promarkers) and white lace. finally adding a sentiment (from craftwork cards) and glittered, and added flowers and a flourish. and some liquid pearls to the edge
Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Butterflies
I made this card using some brown Kraft packing paper, I found lying around.
I inked the paper using my dusters and distress inks (Vintage photo, faded jeans and peeled paint), and inked the edges. Then using an Inkylicious script stamp and the same colours I stamped this randomly on the background. Next I used Versamark and some gold embossing powder to further stamp the script to highlight a couple of areas.
I then found out some really old stamps (so old I don't know who made them or where they came from!) and used this to stamp the flowers on the background, and on a further piece of Kraft paper for the centre. I stamped more flowers and cut them out for embellishments.
I then stamped the butterfly's (wings and things from inkylicious) and glittered them. Finally using some old brown organza ribbon, and a doily I assembled curling the edges back to see the patterned corners underneath.
I hope you like it!
I want to enter this into Paperchase - anything goes weekly challenge and
Sketch and stash challenge 117. Thank you!

I think i'm getting somewhere...
I think I'm finally getting to see how this all works, I guess it just takes a bit of practice!! I'm currently working on a couple of challenges I've spotted in other blogs, and will begin posting images of these soon. In the meantime, I've signed up to follow some blogs and if anyone from these sites stops by - Hello and thanks for popping in! Hopefully (technology allowing) I can begin posting photos soon!

New Beginnings
I've decided its time to join the 21st century and begin the learning journey into the wonderful world of blogging.
Please bear with me while I set this blog up... I will be posting more soon. I just need a little more time to get the hang of things.
My blog is predominantly for card making and paper craft, and I will post some of my creations (eventually!)
In the meantime - here's to new beginnings!
